Structural Panels

Above Grade Panels- Earthcore offers a variety of structural panels to meet a a wide range of construction demands. Our above grade panel comes in thicknesses ranging from 4″ to 10″. Our standard wall panels come in thickness of 4 1/16″ (R-27) and 6 1/16″ (R-41). We chose these dimensions to mimic traditional wall thickness to eliminate the need for odd sized jamb extensions and to make it easy to convert plans from stick framing to a SIP wall system. Our standard roof panel thicknesses are 6/1/2″ (R-42) and 8 1/2″ (R-56).

Demising Walls- Earthcore also offers a variety of demising wall options for the multi-family or commercial project. A choice between a magnesium board skin or a Blazeguard® coating can be made to reach a class A fire rating.

Foundation Panels- We also put SIPs in the ground. We manufacture foundation panels. Our panels are individually engineered to the projects specifications. MGO board is used for the skin which is waterproof and stronger than OSB. The panels are 8 1/2″ thick (R- 56). Panels can be set on concrete or gravel footings.

Insulating Connectors

Earthcore SIPs use a urethane core tongue and groove connection system to reduce points of thermal bridging within the wall system. These connectors are installed at the factory, but can be sent out separately for those occasions when a panel may need modification

Poly-ISO Board- Earthcore also sells Poly-ISO board in thicknesses 2½” to 4½” with either a foil face or an organic fiber face. We also sell the same thickness bonded to OSB. These products can be used to insulate below grade and under slabs, as well as used in renovation applications to increase insulation value and decrease air infiltration.
